We are so lucky to have such a great game store in our area. If you are at all interested in miniature wargaming, Far Harbor Gaming is a fantastic place to play.

There's a good amount of space, the owner is a great guy, and the community is helpful and friendly. The mall itself is a little sketchy, but that's not their fault and it's a small price to pay for the ample parking and good location.

They play a wide variety of games, sell used models, and there's a very active Discord if you want to find a community for any given game.

If you’re looking for tabletop wargaming in Grand Rapids then this is the place. Far Harbor is probably Grand Rapids best kept gaming secret. A small and cozy gaming space with plenty of hobby and play space. Whether you come by every week or once every other month the gamers there welcome you like an old friend. The owner, Jesse, cares deeply for the local gaming community and it shows in the frequency and quality of events Far Harbor puts on. As a Grand Rapids local I highly recommend checking this place out.

This place is great. I went in to learn about Warhammer and ask about the local player base. Between the staff and a few of the customers who overheard my questions, I got amazing advice on how to get into a few different games, including warhammer and several different peoples experience playing a variety of games locally.

Also, they have tables that are just always available for play and they host tournaments, which is a long way of saying they create opportunities to play what they sell as well.

Top notch shop, can’t recommend going here enough.

My friend and I just got into warhammer recently and needed a place to play since we do not have a gaming area for ourselves yet. This place is very welcoming to newcomers and anyone that wants to come in and play. There are tables, terrain, mats etc that are available to use and the owner has been very helpful when my friend and I have questions or need help. So don't hesitate to head there to play a game with a friend and shop for your hobby! Thanks far harbor for the welcoming environment.

I love this place. The owner Jesse is a great guy and is always willing to help explain any rules or answer any question you might have about a number of different games. There's a good stock of different products including Warhammer/Conquest/MonPoc and other games along with paints, grasses, and more.

There are plenty of tables to play at and a huge selection of table top terrain to use. People are friendly there and I always see them playing games, painting, and hanging out for the day.
